PAST PERFORMERS
The Costa Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually in Matt’s memory to a Tulane brother of Sigma Phi Epsilon. For the committee members, the scholarship process provides an opportunity to revisit their own bonds with the son/brother/friend who left tragically too soon. For the recipient and fraternity, the scholarship keeps the memory of a beloved brother shining bright, keeping his good work, personality, and talents top of mind.

Please contact Pam Cameron, Matt's mom, if you are intersted in making a donation directly to the Costa Memorial Scholarship. She can be reached at: pamelalcameron@yahoo.com

Use of Funds:
In Mike’s words: "With the Costa Scholarship proceeds, I planned a softball tournament and crawfish boil. Sigma Phi Epsilon brothers who were struggling to pay their fraternity dues were given the opportunity to coordinate the event; in return, a portion of the funds were used to reduce their outstanding dues. Sig Ep also received much needed softball equipment and other athletic supplies. Most importantly, we were able to have a great time playing softball and eating crawfish on the Mississippi river. From everything I have heard about Matt, I’m confident he would have enjoyed it.”
